My son’s first multi-syllable word was TURTLE. Since then the family has showered him with all things turtle: clothing, books, toys, stuffed animals etc. So when the time came to pick his Halloween costume the choice was clear – he was going to be a turtle. Duh!
We kicked off the festivities with a Trunk-or-Treat event at daycare. Since I don’t have permission to post pictures of other children, just trust me when I say everyone was uber adorable. His classmates were dressed up as a lion, Yo Gabba Gabba, a dragon, Yoda, an 80’s dancer (complete with leg warmers), a pirate, a farmer, a princess etc. There were trunks with various graveyard or dark and spooky Halloween themes. But some of my favorites were Monster’s University, pirate and his wench and mermaid crossing trunk. It was a great event and I’m so glad grandma and I were able to attend!
We didn’t go trick or treating like planned. We stayed in at grandma and grandpa’s and help pass out candy. But that didn’t stop Michelangelo and his dad from having a little fun too.
